During our first meeting with Dr. Tan, we reviewed the progress the gas tank had made so far. We discussed our initial design ideas, constraints, examples we observed, and our manufacturing process.
This week was dedicated to testing our already manufactured Gas Tank. This means hooking up fittings to the outlet of the tank and pressurizing the tank to 10 PSI to confirm there are no leaks in the welds and in the gasket around the fill plate. We will hook the tank with fittings up to air and pressurize it.
We will also volume test the tank to confirm the tank will hold close to 1.5 gallons as our constraints dictate.
